Who We Are

Black Creatives and Arts Network (BCAN) is a community for black creatives to network and connect in Tees valley and beyond. This includes musicians, writers, poets, visual artists, designers, content creators, film makers, producers, food, fashion and more.

BCAN was set up to:

Create visibility of various black creatives in Tees Valley through meetings and events.
Provide training and support to creatives to set up their businesses and develop career in the industry.
Create opportunity to network with like-minded people from different sectors.
Provide opportunities for collaboration amongst like-minded artists.
Create awareness of available opportunities for members.
